A new radio station broadcasting in Oman – Al-Wisal, translated as ‘Connectivity’ – is to use back-up on-site generators supplied by JCB.

The station targets Arabic-speaking 18 to 40-year olds with music and chat shows and the new generators – JCB G63Q and G33Q canopied models – have been purchased by owners Sabco Media.

Specified and installed by JCB’s Omani dealer, MOS, the G63Q operates as a standby unit powering the FM radio mast located in the Wadi Kabir Hills. The G33Q provides standby power for Al-Wisal’s studio.
