Saudi Electricity Co awards $120m power generation contract to unknown

Saudi Electricity Co. (SECO) has awarded a contract valued at 450 million riyals ($120 million) to an unidentified local company to supply and install two power generating units and transformers in Al Qaryat province.

The 120 MW units will enter service next year, the kingdom’s largest utility said in an e-mailed statement.
