Celsia is planning to add 140 MW to its installed capacity. The Colomian power generator currently operates 1777 MW, which it expects to increase to 1917 MW by late 2014.

Portafolio reports that among the projects in Celsia’s development pipeline is the 55 MW Cucuana hydropower plant, which will enter commercial operation by the end of next year.

Furthermore, the 19.9 MW Bajo Tulua hydropower plant is slated to come on line in next September.

Celsia will also develop a 20 MW hybrid power plant that combines wind (16 MW) and solar photovoltaics (4 MW).
