Norwegian HEP firm secures $52m loan

The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) has signed an agreement to provide a loan of $52m to Norwegian energy company E-CO Energi to finance the development of its three hydropower projects.

Energy Business Review reports that the loan will be used for the construction of a new dam, four new aggregates and a new hydropower plant to replace a 40-year-old existing plant.
