Tibco software chosen by Alstom Power

28 March 2002-Tibco Software Inc. announced Thursday that Alstom group, one of the leading French industrial firms, has selected the complete suite of Tibco ActiveEnterprise products as their business integration infrastructure. Tibco Software products have been selected as the standard Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solution for the Alstom group

The first integration project has already been implemented and made operational within six weeks. This integration project, dedicated to the provisioning of parts for Alstom Power operations, consist of the implementation of interfaces between various Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP.

Silicon valley-based Tibco, said that its software provided a flexible and reliable integration solution that met Alstom’s challenge within the deadline required. The scalability and flexibility of the solution allowed Alstom to solve its end-to-end business integration challenges.
