Kazakhstan is to see the development of its first wind power plant following the signing of a loan agreement by the Eurasian Development Bank.

EDB signed the agreement to grant a loan of $94m to Samruk Energo subsidiary First Wind Power Plant. The loan covers a ten year period.
Wind farm
The plant will have a capacity of 45 MW according to newskaz.ru and will be constructed in Ereimentau in the Akmolinsk region.
