The Bremen-headquartered company has clinched contracts for a total of 35 Nordex, Senvion and Fuhrländer turbines across five windfarms.
The new French business unit is located in Reims in northeast France and is headed by Mohamed Metahri.
France is seeing an increasing number of windpower opportunities. Björn Mummenthey, director of project developer EuroCape New Energy, said: “France is one of the most stable and institutionally developed markets for wind power in Europe.”
