Spanish companies fast-track three key wind projects in Chile

Gecal, Inverduero and Inzamac of Spain are developing four important wind power projects in Chile via their joint venture, Ener-Renova.

Ener-Renova is due to start on the construction of the 48 MW Collipulli wind farm, located on the region of La Araucania, early next year

The wind facility reportedly represents an investment of S108m.

Ener-Renova is also working on the development of another three wind farms: La Cachina (66 MW), Las Dichas (16 MW) and Llanquihue (74 MW).

The total investment cost of all four projects is said to be S428m.
