German wind company Nordex has won three new orders for a total of more than 40 MW in Turkey.

The contracts involve a total of 18 turbines and the trio of projects are located in different regions of the country.Nordex wins Turkey windpower deals

The largest is the Karacabey wind farm in the province of Bursa, where Nordex will supply 12 of its N100/2500 turbines for Arti Enerji.

The second project is for Akça Enerji Nordex and will be see Nordex add four of its N117/2400 turbines, totalling 9.6 MW, to the existing Aliaga wind farm in the province of Aliaga.

The third project is also an extension, involving the addition of two N90/2500 turbines to the Teperes wind farm in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul, for Ertürk Grup.

Nordex has to date installed 1.3 GW of wind power in Turkey.
