German windpower group Nordex has won three contracts totalling 36 MW in France.
The Hamburg-headquartered company will provide a total of 13 of its N131/3000, N117/3000 and N117/2400 turbines for the windfarms, which each have different project developers and operators.
The deal for the N131/3000 turbine marks the first time that Nordex will have installed it in France and with a rotor diameter of 131 metres, Nordex claims it will be the largest turbine installed in France to date.
