Argentinian-Brazilian consortium’s 144 MW wind project

Impsa y Chui Holding of Argentina and Brazilian Fondo de Inversiones en Participaciones Rio Bravo have signed an agreement to jointly build the 144 MW Chui wind power farm in Brazil.

This wind farm will be located in the city of Chui, close to the border Brazil shares with Uruguay.

The project is expected to be operational by March 2014, reports Energias Renovables.

The Chui wind farm will comprise 72 turbines, with a capacity of 2 MW each, and annually generate 580 MWh, which is enough to supply 280,000 households.
