Brazil’s electricity regulator Aneel has extended the submission deadline of feasibility studies for four large hydroelectric power stations.

The plants are Cachoeira do Cai (802 MW), Mirador (106 MW), Cachoeira dos Patos (528 MW) and Jamanxim (881 MW), according to a report by Seenews.

The companies in charge of the projects requested an extension of the deadline so the electricity regulator has delayed it to 31 December 2015.

Furnas will build the Mirador project.

The other projects are located in the state of Parana, and involve several companies, including Eletrobras, Eletronorte and Endesa do Brazil.
