Solaria set to install 100 MW of PV capacity in Brazil

Solaria Brazil, a subsidiary of Spain’s Grupo Solaria, is to execute turnkey solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Brazil after signing an agreement with power utility Iguacu Geracao de Energia, Efe reports.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) covers the installation of 100 MW, either in a single project or via multiple projects.

This MoU is part of Grupo Solaria’s strategic expansion plan to strengthen its position in the Latin American market over the 2013-15 period.
