Senvion clinches Italy wind turbine deal

Senvion has secured a contract to deliver 30 wind turbines to a new windfarm in Italy.Senivon windpower project

The 60 MW Tursi Colobraro is the largest project under the third Italian feed-in tariff auction to date and is owned by PLT Energia.

Hamburg-headquartered Senvion will install its MM100 turbines from next autumn. Each will have a rated power of 2 MW and a hub height of 100 metres.

To date, Senvion has installed over 350 turbines from its MM-portfolio with a total output of more than 700 MW in Italy.
