Spanish firm Ingeconser is to negotiate a power purchase agreement for a 25 MW wind project in Argentina’s Santa Fe with wholesale market operator Cammesa, according to reports.

The firm is reportedly happy with the results of its studies, confirming the feasibility of installing 10 wind turbines of 2.5 MW each in the city of Rufino.

The documents have been presented to Cammesa and Argentina’s Energy Secretariat, Ingeconser Argentina’s Miguel Del Castillo told local news site Energia Estrategica.

The wind park is the first in the province, and will be installed as part of an agreement between Santa Fe’s government and Ingeconser beginning in May 2016.
