Celsia grows revenue by 10 per cent in September

Colombia’s energy company Celsia has reported operating revenues of 1.9bn pesos ($14m) in September 2014. This represents an increase of 10 per cent with respect to the same period in 2013.

Caracol Radio claimed that the incomes came from the generation and wholesale marketing of electricity (56 per cent), retail marketing (24 per cent) and the use and connection of networks (8 per cent).

El Colombiano daily added that, by the end of this year, Celsia will have invested 173,671m pesos in energy projects, among which is the Porvenir II hydropower plant.
