In the first deal, Heliex – which specialises in steam screw expanders and their applications in the recovery of energy from industrial processes –joined forces with Greenerco Energies Renouvelables (Greenerco), an established French company specialising in products for the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector.
The new partnership will allow Heliex to grow its customer base in French territories using Greenerco’s knowledge and experience of the French market. Professor Dan Wright, Heliex chief executive, said: “We are delighted to be working with Greenerco as our partner in France and the French markets. Greenerco has a solid and proven track record of project execution in the renewable sector. We are confident that Greenerco’s experience and market reach, together with Heliex’s technology, will be a successful combination in the years ahead.”
Olivier Fruleux, managing director of Greenerco Energies, said: “Energy efficiency and especially industrial waste heat recovery is one of the most critical elements for the emerging low carbon economy, as highlighted in the ongoing discussions for the new French energy transition law.
“We are confident that Heliex’s unique solution will significantly contribute to increasing energy efficiency for industrial customers in France. We are excited to bring Greenerco’s expertise in the distribution and maintenance of renewable power generation assets to successfully deploy the Heliex solution in the French market.”
The second deal signed last week saw Heliex cement a new partnership with Zamkon, a Polish company established in 1989 specialising in industrial fittings and consultancy services in thermal energy to the Polish market.
The collaboration between the two companies will grow Heliex Power’s customer base into Poland while adding another significant offering to Zamkon’s need-addressing solutions.
Heliex boss Wright said: “At Heliex we feel extremely excited about having Zamkon appointed as our distribution channel for Poland. Zamkon has been successfully serving the steam market for many years and has an excellent reputation for service, quality and performance; we are proud that Zamkon will be representing Heliex in Poland and developing the waste heat to power sector with our technology.”
