Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners has signed an agreement to supply 150MW of onshore wind power over the next decade to meet the requirement of the facility at Clonee, Meath near Dublin.

The company will supply the wind power from its 465MW of operating wind assets in Ireland. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Brookfield managing partner Ralf Rank said: “With over 10,000 MW of operating hydro and wind capacity and a 7,000 MW renewable development pipeline globally, we are uniquely positioned to offer consumers long-term, carbon-free renewable power and price stability as we work toward combatting climate change.”
