Chilean firms form consortium to develop solar technology

The Cintac, BBosch and AXYS technology companies have formed a consortium to produce solar power equipment adapted to the Chilean habitat.

This group works closely with other German companies to exploit the country’s potential for this type of energy.

They are also negotiating with an Italian company to manufacture photovoltaic panels appropriate to the Chilean context, which features more humidity and less radiation than places like Australia.

With the driest and most arid desert in the world, Chile is one of the areas with the greatest potential for solar energy. But the technology has been created to suit other latitudes.
