Brazil is seeking 7500 MW from Bolivia to supply its market just days before the two nations sign an agreement of energy integration, La Razon newspaper reports.

“We have signed a memorandum of understanding with Brazil 10 days ago following a meeting with the national energy watchdog,” said Luis Arce, Bolovia’s minister of Economy and Public Finance.

“There are many projects in which Brazil is interested, hydroelectric projects mainly, but also thermoelectric and they add up to 7500 MW of Brazil’s interest,” the minister said.
