Senior management from PennWell Corporation and the Shenzhen Bai De Exhibition Co Ltd have formally announced the launch of the 7thAsia SOLAREXPO, a joint venture event in Shenzhen, South China.

Asia SOLAREXPO is one of China’s most established and mature solar events and Li Qinxiang, Shenzhen Bai De Exhibition’s managing director, was enthusiastic about the positive contribution that would be provided by PennWell’s involvement.

Glenn Ensor, director of international events for PennWell Corporation, said: “Asia SOLAREXPO exemplifies China’s ever-growing solar power influence worldwide and PennWell’s reputation as a world leader in energy publishing and producer of the largest energy events in the world.”

Asia SOLAREXPO 2011 will be held at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center on 3–5 December 2011 and is the largest and most established solar photovoltaic exhibition in South China, co-located with 6th South China Lithium Battery Technology Forum, and the 13th Risk Investment Forum.
