Asia’s largest airport solar power plant about to go live

The Kansai International Airport megasolar power plant in Osaka, Japan has been completed and is set to be operational on February 1st.

Solar Frontier this week announced that the11.6 MW CIS installation, managed by SF Kansai Mega Solar, is entering its final stages of preparation.
Solar Frontier’s CIS thin-film modules offer higher electricity yield (kWh/kWp) than standard crystalline silicon modules in real operating conditions, while anti-glare properties prevent reflection from affecting aircraft operations.
