Argentina to invest $70m in solar PV project

San Juan province in Argentina says it is invest $70m in building a solar photovoltaic (PV) project in the Ullum department, according to news reports.

The project will have a total installed capacity of 20 MW.

The solar project is to be constructed by a joint venture between Epse and Energia Argentina (Enarsa), Sky Solar Holdings and Bauen Efacec, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Efacec.

Enarsa and Sky Solar Holdings hold a combined 15 per cent share in the joint venture.
