A group led by CX South Korea has signed an agreement with the Pakistani government to build a 300 MW solar farm.

The estimated investment is reported to be up to $900m and the group expects to build 300 MW of power generation from the development by 2016.

CX Solar is in talks with panel suppliers, including Bernin, France-based Soitec SA (SOI), which makes Concentrix photovoltaic panels, according to a spokesman, reports Bloomberg.
