July 31, 2002 – Exelon Generation has selected Sargent & Lundy LLC for a multi-year engineer-of-choice contract for their nuclear and fossil generation fleets.

Under this contract, Sargent & Lundy will continue to provide extensive engineering, project management, and outage support services for Exelon’s 17 nuclear generating units at 10 sites. Sargent & Lundy will also continue to provide new generation and backfit services to Exelon’s fossil fleet, including PECo Energy, Sithe New England Holdings, and two power plants purchased earlier this year from TXU Energy.
