Russian state nuclear specialists Rosatom are to concentrate efforts to provide nuclear power generation technology in South Africa.

The company’s press secretary Loyiso Langeni said this week in Durban that the company’s attendance at BRICS Summit event will enable it to consult with stakeholders.

Meanwhile Energy Business Review quotes the company’s marketing manager Alexander Kirillov as saying, “”Localisation will at the initial stage of the project be at 30% of production which will eventually peak at 65%”, Kirillov added.
