SWEDEN, Oct. 9, 2000 (M2 Communications)—The Swedish construction group Peab has received a SEK180m contract in connection with a project to build an intermediate storage facility for spent nuclear fuel.

The storage facility will be located at the Oskarshamn nuclear plant and will store spent fuel and core components from Sweden’s nuclear power stations for eventual encapsulation and controlled deposition.
