Czech Finance Minister Pavel Mertlik appealed yesterday for a prompt end to Czech-Austrian border blockades by anti-Temelin protesters, saying Austria could soon “receive a bill” for the resulting costs.
Austrian truckers have calculated their daily losses at Kc 23 mln. Meanwhile, the plant announced that output at the first reactor is approaching 5% (Hospodarske Noviny 1, Pravo 2).
