Network interface

Ethernet interface for isolated measurement pods (IMPs) creates new network architectures in process monitoring applications and simplifies the implementation of distributed monitoring. By using industry-standard TCP/IP network protocol, the interface provides transparent, high-speed, bi-directional communication between IMPs and vibration IMPs into high-performance, UNIX-based workstations that are able to communicate simultaneously. Ethernet`s 10 Mbit/s bandwidth and CDMA/CD packet management ensure essential data is transferred with minimal delay. Users can tap into an installed Ethernet cable at any point with no disruption to ongoing communications, thus reducing cable installation costs.
