The model UE 586 ultrasonic continuous output monitor senses changes in ultrasonic patterns of operating equipment to provide early warning of mechanical failure and of flow problems. It can be used for monitoring roller or ball element bearings, cavitation in pumps, valve leakage, fan bearings and detection of solid fluid flow/no flow. Monitor focuses in on a narrow range of ultrasound; and due to the short-wave nature of these high-frequency emissions, it isolates the monitored signal, eliminating interference from stray, irrelevant sources. Outputs of 0 to 10 V dc and 4 to 20 mA provide for flexibility in alarm/monitoring interface.
