Sept. 13, 2002 — PennWell Corporation has announced that it is welcoming abstracts for POWER-GEN Europe 2003.

The conference runs 6-8 May 2003 in Dusseldorf, Germany.

The POWER-GEN Europe Programme Committee has devised a line-up of preliminary topics and tracks for the 2003 conference programme:

* How To Face the Challenges of the New Power Markets
* Where does Gas Fired Generation Go Now?
* What is the Future of Large Steam Plants?
* How To Improve Plant Performance & Economics
* Achieving a Sustainable Low Carbon Future – Which Way to Go?

The call for papers presents an opportunity to step into the limelight at Europe’s power generation forum. POWER-GEN Europe speakers gain international recognition as industry leaders and exposure to a high level audience. Speakers are also eligible for POWER-GEN Europe 2003’s Innovation Awards.

The 2002 event in Milan was the biggest and best attended POWER-GEN Europe ever, attracting over 9,000 energy professionals from 80 countries worldwide.

Taking place at the centre of Europe’s industrial heartland, the 5-track 2003 conference in Dusseldorf will attract an audience of more than a thousand well-qualified professionals and will run alongside Europe’s largest exhibition totally dedicated to power generation.

Presenters should submit their 300-400 word abstracts by 1 November 2002 to be included in the conference programme selection process.
