Auto manufacturer BMW Group’s light alloy foundry in the town of Landshut, northeast of Munich in Germany, is to benefit from two natural gas-fuelled Jenbacher cogeneration systems from GE Energy. GE is supplying two JMS 420 units for combined heat and power supply on-site; the units should deliver primary energy savings of about 40%.
