Aneel, Brazil’s electricity regulatory has rejected a request from Tractebel Energia to extend the commercial start-up deadline for its William Arjona thermoelectric power plant, it has been reported.

According to SeeNews, the William Arjona plant has an installed capacity of 190 MW and utilises both natural gas and diesel oil.

It is located in Campo Grande, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul.
