Power project developer IPSA has confirmed the timetable for commencing the commercial operation of its first cogeneration plant in South Africa. Subject to the final granting of a generation licence by NERSA, South Africa’s power regulator, the Newcastle Cogeneration Plant in KwaZulu Natal was expected to enter into commercial operation in February.
