Sanner is installing a combined heat and power system as central to the modernization of its plant site in Bensheim, Germany.

The new construction includes a central transport corridor to improve the flow of goods as well as a technical services center with a power/heat cogeneration system.
The new development is scheduled for completion in June 2013 and will cost $5.1m.

The focus for the cogeneration system is to assist the plastic and packaging company counteract rising energy prices.
