A new solar PV installation at the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, in southern New England, USA, is supplying 2.3 MWp. CJiminy Peak Resortombined with an existing 1.5 MW wind turbine and a 75 kW cogeneration unit, the project will enable the resort to offset 90% of its energy needs from on-site renewables.

Covering 12 acres near the base of the resort, the project is the largest community solar project in the state and was developed by Nexamp.

Located in Hancock, Massachusetts, around 100 local residents pay a 15% discounted rate for the value of the electricity generated by their share of the Nexamp-owned solar project.
