Nestlé Waters North America (NWNA) has installed two 1.6 MW wind turbines at its bottling plant in Cabazon, California.

The GE wind turbines will generate 12,900,000KWh of electricity per annum and meet up to 30 per cent of the facility’s energy requirements.

The wind facilities will also displace a combined 7,320t of carbon dioxide emissions each year.

The company partnered with the Morongo Band of Mission Indians and Foundation Windpower to install and commission the wind turbines.
