The proposed PV installations are a part of a wider campaign to use micro-renewable technologies to reduce carbon emissions from the stations. Austrian Energy & Environment has won a major contract to build a 140 MW cogeneration station for Condamine Power Station Pty Ltd in Queensland, Australia. The order is worth Euro95 million and the plant is scheduled to come online in August 2009 after 24 months’ construction time.
