Finland’s Fortum has announced that it is reorganizing its business, with a new division to be devoted to power and heat under a ‘sustainable city’ rubric.
The division will focus on heating and cooling, waste-to-energy, biomass and ‘other circular economy solutions’, the firm said. Markus Rauramo, who is currently executive vice-president of the Heat, Electricity Sales and Solutions business unit, will head the new division.
The firm will also establish a Russia division which will focus on power and heat generation and sales in the country.
The reorganization will come into effect on 1 April.
