Exergy wins 110 MW Turkey geothermal deal

Italianà‚ turbine manufacturer Exergy is to provide 110MW ofà‚ geothermalà‚ electricity to Turkey via five different generating units.

The company won the quintet of orders within a week from the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and each unit will feature Exergy’s Radial Outflow Turbine technology.

Exergy will supply one unit for the 24 MW Kubilay I plant for Bestepeler Enerji àƒÅ“retim Ticaret; two units for Kipa Holding, at the 25 MW plant Mehmet Han and the 3 MW Ken Kipas; one unit at the Umurlu II 12 MW project for Karadeniz Holding, and the final unit at the 14 MW Sultanhisar I facility for Celikler Holding.

All will obtain theà‚ national feed-in tariffà‚ from January 2017.
