Californian store reduces emissions with fuel cell energy

ClearEdge Power has deployed a 15 kW fuel cell system at Roger’s Gardens ” a destination home and garden store in California’s Orange County.

The system is set to reduce the store’s greenhouse gas emissions by more than 40 per cent. Furthermore the combined heat and power system will help reduce the store’s annual energy bills.

Commenting on the installation of the fuel cells, Roger’s Gardens co-owner Gavin Herbert Jr., said: “The ClearEdge system delivers cost-effective clean energy that helps us increase efficiencies and reduce our environmental footprint.”
