This may be the first time you have seen the annual Review/Directory issue of Cogeneration and On-Site Power Production, which we publish each summer. As you will see, it is a ‘bumper’ issue, providing a review of technologies in use in CHP and other forms of distributed energy production, along with a useful buyers’ guide at the back of the book.

Since its launch in 2000, COSPP has gone from strength to strength in providing information for, and about, the increasingly important cleaner, leaner, decentralized energy sector. I hope you will agree that the current issue is among our very best.

The listings section is derived from our much bigger suppliers’ database, available to consult on-line at www.cospp.com. While we have done all we can to ensure that the selection offered in this issue is up-to-date and accurate, it is inevitable that some errors will have slipped through, and we welcome all comments and corrections.

We are constantly welcoming new subscribers, both to our paper and digital versions of the magazine. If you are not a subscriber and wish to be, or if you need to change your existing subscription information, please visit www.cospp.com. and click a ‘subscribe’ button. You can also sign up to receive our regular e-updates, which will bring some of the latest news items to your desk.

The COSPP website is also the place to look for news, archive features, and our diary of events; during the coming year we shall be adding more ‘white papers’ and webcasts, plus information tailored to meet the needs of our different reader groups.

The publishers of COSPP would like to thank the advertisers who support the publication. When you contact them, please do mention that you have seen their advertisement here.

P.S. During 2008, a COSPP pavilion will also be featuring at POWER-GEN events in Europe and Asia, putting CHP and on-site power at the heart of the leading power industry tradeshows – do join us there.
