SMA to service new solar installations in Chile

Atlas Renewable Energy has selected SMA to provide plantwide operations and maintenance services for two large-scale solar power installations in Chile.

The capacity of the plants is 180 MW.à‚ One of the O&M sites, Javiera, totaling over 70 MW, is located in Diego de Almagro, a city in the Atacama region of Chile. The other installation, Quilapilun, is a 110 MW PV project located in Santiago.Solar panels

SMA Service currently boasts over 2.5 GW of solar assets under O&M agreements, all of which are monitored from SMA’s NERC compliant Solar Monitoring Centres located in California and Germany.
