Altaaqua Alternative Solutions has installed a 24 MW temporary power plant in the Sultanate of Oman, which offers distinct district cooling benefits.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia-based subsidiary of Zahid Group took just four days to complete the power project, one of the fastest installations in the history of the equipment rental industry.

The plant is specifically designated towards meeting peak electricity demands throughout the summer and will supply power to the electricity grid at a time when there is a significant increase in the use of temperature control equipment, such as air conditioning and district cooling.

Supporting the existing generating capacity of Oman, the interim power plant will ensure peak performance during the hottest months of the year.
