This week the District Energy System in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada will be hooked up to the new Royal Canadian Mounted Police building.

The system already supplies City Hall, the Coliseum, Civic Centre, Library and Aquatic Centre in the city.

The District Energy System got up and running in June, which takes excess heat from wood residue in Lakeland Mills, and sends it into hot water that travels into downtown.
