The state-run Mexican oil company said in a statement midweek that it would work with the other two firms in a consortium to develop the 517 MW cogeneration plant to supply the Antonio Dovali Jaime refinery in Salina Cruz and the national grid.

The project will create about 1,500 jobs, Pemex said.
