Gazprom OAO (GAZP), the world’s biggest gas producer, is to sell its 99.5 per cent stake in Lithuania’s Kaunas Heat and Power Plant, the Baltic News Service has reported.
The news came from Antanas Pranculis, the head of the Kaunas thermo power plant, located in Lithuania’s second largest city.
The stake will be sold to the plant’s minority shareholder, Clement Power Venture Inc. based in Switzerland, the newswire said. The size of the transaction wasn’t disclosed.
