An initiative in Connecticut, US is to benefit combined heat and power producers.
Hartford Business.com reports that the Connecticut Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority released its request for proposals for a $6m pilot program for combined heat and power facilities.
The CEFIA pilot program offers $2m annually for three years to projects below 5 MW, application closing date set for September 28th.
Support for each individual project includes loans, performance-based incentives, alternative financing mechanisms and grants.
