The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is considering financing of a new 140 MW gas fired combined heat and power plant to replace an existing coal fired heating facility in Vladivostok city, Russia.

The loan will be provided to JSC “RAO ES Vostoka” and part of it will be used to refinance existing debt.

EBRD Finance: senior loan of up to RUB 4bn $122bn is envisaged for the project. It is expected that the project will be co-financed by the European Investment Bank.
