Thailand to showcase first upgraded GT26 in combined-cycle

When the second block of the Bangkok North power plant in Thailand enters service in 2016 it will be the first combined-cycle power plant (CCPP) that French company Alstom has built for the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (Egat), and the first combined-cycle plant in the world to use its recently upgraded version of its GT26 heavy-duty gas turbine.

Power Engineering International, in association with Alstom, will publish a Project Digest on this milestone event, which is scheduled to available for free download from the Power Engineering International website on the 24th September 2013.
